Skarverennet will also take place this year!

This winter has not given us the snow conditions we are used to, but with some adjustments, the iconic Skarverennet will still take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025! Additionally, there will be a mini concert with Emma Steinbakken at "Jegertoppen"!

If you happen to have never heard of Skarverennet before, known as "spring's most beautiful adventure," we can tell you that it is the world's third largest cross-country ski race, giving you the opportunity to experience fantastic nature and challenging trails together with thousands of other ski enthusiasts. Skarverennet has been held since 1974 and is a major folk festival with activities and entertainment. Both professionals and amateurs participate.

The race usually starts at Finse, Haugastøl, or Geilo and ends at Ustaoset, but this year adjustments have been made to the trails so that the race can be held despite the lack of snow.
